When nursing care only requires assistance on an hourly or daily basis, our carers are there for you.
Domiciliary Care: What Is it?
Domiciliary is another option to live in care.
If you do not have space in your home for a live-in carer, you can still have the same service of care, as live-in. However, you would have carers popping in at regular intervals supposed to be in the home 24 hours a day, like a live-in carer.
The amount of times they visit you will all depend on your needs.
Carers will still be able to visit you in your home on a regular basis from one visit up to four visits a day. This could involve
- Washing dressing
- Making meals
- Providing drinks
- Light domestic support
- Providing medication assistance
- EMERGENCY CARE (no assessment needed for one-offs)
- To provide covers and support for the time you need.
- Sitting service
Domiciliary Care: What will it cost you?
Prices vary according to a client’s needs and will vary from £18.00-£25.00 per hour. This cost will vary on how regularly they are visited throughout the day.
Getting in touch with your local authority will provide you with the guidance needed. They can do a means test and let you know exactly what your entitlements are. They may be able to part or fully fund your home care.
To provide cover when a family member needs to pop out. To cover your live-in carer while they have their allocated time off.
These are emergency only, but would not be able to cover on a regular or regular intermittence
