Respite Care

Take a rest and trust our 24hr care service for total peace of mind.

Respite care is the planned or emergency temporary care provided to caregivers of an adult.

It does not matter how committed you are your loved one’s needs; You have to make time for yourself. Doing so is important. This where our service comes in, and we’re happy to help. We can cover a two-week holiday, a short break or urgently because of sickness. Whatever the reason, we’re here when you need us to offer one-to-one care from trained, qualified professionals.

Whatever the reason you are looking for help, our carers can provide you with the help and support that you need, for however long you need them.

Or giving your family peace of mind knowing that there is somebody with you, while they are taking a holiday.

We were not sorry that we chose Acareius to look after dad whilst we went away for a few days.  Not only did they look after him well, but when we got back, they had meals on the table for both my husband and myself”.  Thank you very much.

Mrs. A. Barratt

“Mary was a great support and help to me when I came out of hospital after my hip operation.  She was a lovely cook and did a lot of baking for me too.  She made sure there was extra food in the freezer for me when she left, so I did not have to worry about going out and  getting food in to cook.  I would recommend you to anybody who needs help around the home.  Many thanks.
Mrs. Prendiville

I am grateful for all the help your girls gave us whilst we went over to Australia for our daughter’s wedding.  We were so worried about leaving our parents for the six weeks we were there, but there was no need for us to be concerned.  The two girls you sent, shared the role doing three weeks each and were totally efficient. My parents said that they were polite and respectful the whole time and got on with the job in a professional manner.  If we ever go back to Australia to visit again we will certainly be using your services again. We’re very grateful to you all.
Mr. I. Leven

Even though families find great joy in providing care to loved ones so that they can stay at home, the physical, emotional and financial consequences for the family caregiver are often overwhelming without some support, in this case, respite. Respite Live-in care provides a break for the family caregiver, which may prove beneficial to the health of the caregiver.

Try not to be worried about leaving your friend or family member with a stranger. We have brilliant and responsible carers whose knowledge and expertise should put anyone at ease.

We provide in-house, live-in respite care. This care service is favourite for obvious reasons. The temporary caregiver comes to the conventional care receiver’s home and gets to know the care receiver in his or her healthy environment. The temporary caregiver learns the family routine, where medicines are located, and transportation and strange situations do not inconvenience the care receiver.

Respite is shown to have helped sustain family caregiver health and well being, avoid or delay relocation and reduce the likelihood of abuse and neglect in the care situation. It can also reduce the possibility of arguments, stress and divorce and help sustain marriages.

Contact us to see how we can help you. If you need respite care in an emergency, we can help within as little as 24 hours’ notice.
