Our Carers provide a 24hr care service for total peace of mind.
The support workers are especially chosen, and selected to meet individual client needs, and matched to the best of our ability. We do our best to keep the continuity of support angels providing you with a regular two, but sometimes change may be unavoidable due to sickness, holidays etc. We understand that constant change can cause undue stress and anxiety in a client; therefore we strive to avoid this.
“Details about the client and carer are fed into our system. This practice allows us to match carers up to our clients with ease.”
All support workers have to go through various training, or provide valid training certificates, before we introduce them to you. We like to ensure this because we want to be able to provide the client with the best possible care, thus protecting them, and protecting the carers too.
We only include carers on our database that are vetted against CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) and POVA (Protection of Vulnerable Adults). Previous employment references are required and other sources are also obtained. All references are checked thoroughly and a personal interview with the manager is made before anybody is sent out to an assignment to you.
Regular updates are provided for us by current clients, about their present support worker. This way we are able to monitor and make sure that our standards of care are being met.
All information about carer’s and clients is strictly confidential, and only released on a need to know basis to the appropriate staff and carer.
Once we have found a suitable carer for you. We will make contact and give them a brief description about the client and their needs. We will then make arrangements for the carer to get in touch with you, so that you are able to chat to them yourselves. They would generally call you in the evening after 6pm. Once contact has been made and both parties are happy to go ahead. Arrangements for the start date can commence.
